I bought this app to use on vacation in Vietnam. While on a network, it worked fine. But as soon as I stepped outside of my hotel room, it was stuck updating the currency. It refused to translate USD to VND, even though I had installed the currency previously and had used it for exchanges previously. It says ‘updating.’ I don’t need an update every hour. I’m trying to buy a t-shirt. Who cares if it’s a little bit wrong? This app isn’t useful when I’m sitting in my hotel room with wifi. It’s useful when I’m at the market in a foreign country with no network access trying to figure out how much something is. Also, another point of concern: I was in the Beijing airport, where money is reported in RMB. It took me a while to figure out that the app listed Chinese money as CNY. It’s also not clear why it had to download this currency - the Chinese are the most populous people on the planet. Seriously, why do I have to download any currencies? Isn’t this like a list of “Currency Type” => “Exchange Rate” values that hardly take up any memory? This app was a waste of money and was completely useless over my two week vacation.

I like the instant exchange rate, but when you are out on the field without WIFI it does not work. If there was a way to load the app to work on your phone without WIFI and update when you get back and reconnect, it would be great.

This is my favorite exchange rate app. Its easy to use and helped me to see how it was while I was traveling. Even without wifi, updated datas helped me to keep using various exchange rates informations

Used it all over the world! Always 100% accurate and Ive used it dozens of times to keep shop owners honest in remote flea markets and bazaars.

I love this app. It updates every time you open the app. It has multiple countries and it is easy to use. My only problem is that if you arent connected to any internet or wifi; the app doesnt update. There should maybe be a table or calculator that saves the countries you go to. Along with the currency to make the figures without Internet.

Zero problems from Santiago to Iceland to Paris to Lima to Nicaragua. Easy to use and updates frequently.
